1. Who is responsible
Sovereign Digital Solutions Limited, Trinidad and Tobago, runs this website, SOV ID and the SOV family of sites, and decides how your personal information is used on them. Individual sites may add their own notice for features specific to them.
2. What we collect
Account details held in SOV ID: your name, nickname, email, phone number if you add one, and sign-in identifiers.
Identity verification details, only if you choose to verify: documents and photos you submit. These are visible only to authorised staff and are deleted after a review decision.
Messages you send us through contact, onboarding and feedback forms.
Technical data: device and browser type, pages visited and error reports, used to keep the sites working and secure.
3. What we use it for
To run your account across our sites, answer your requests, verify identity where a feature needs it, keep the sites safe, prevent abuse and fraud, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Who processes it for us
We use service providers to run the sites: Vercel for web hosting, DigitalOcean for our server and managed database, and Cloudflare for network security and delivery. Sign-in with Google, if you choose it, is handled by Google. They handle data only to provide their service to us, and some operate outside Trinidad and Tobago, so your information may be processed abroad.
5. Cookies
We use cookies that keep you signed in across our sites and keep them secure. We do not use advertising cookies.
6. How long we keep it
We keep account information while your account is open. Records needed to resolve disputes or meet legal and accounting duties are kept as long as required. When you close your account we delete or anonymise your personal information, except what we must keep by law.
7. Your choices
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, and you can object to certain uses. You may also have rights under the Data Protection Act of Trinidad and Tobago.
8. Security
Connections are encrypted, sign-in tokens are kept in protected cookies and access to our systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, so use a strong password and tell us at once if you suspect misuse of your account.
9. Children
Our sites are for adults and are not directed at children.
10. Changes
If we change how we use personal information we will update this notice and its date.
11. Contact
Privacy questions or requests: [email protected], or call 868-259-3200.
